The origin of the steam baths (Turkish bath, hamman, thalassos, among other designations), in its most simplistic form, dates back to the time before Christ, however it is with the discovery of Greek and Roman baths by the Arabs, that the further development of this therapeutic technique.

The great masters and traders had to travel great distances through arid lands and huge deserts and at the end of each trip they were worn out, with aging skin, breathing problems and clogged pores because of the dust and impurities in the air. They often died without knowing why.

Until doctors realized how they could use hot water and baths to unclog pores, lungs, airways and at the same time, hydrate the entire body. In this way, the first thermal baths with steam baths appeared.
